The episode of Anupamaa starts with Samar asking Anupamaa if she is filing divorce with Vanraj. Anupamaa asks Samar if she is doing something wrong. Samar says Anupamaa can do whatever she feels is right as a broken heart will always make the right decision.
On the other hand, Kavya gets Vanraj home. She hugs him and says that Vanraj is finally back to her. Kavya asks Vanraj to divorce Anupamaa soon. Vanraj says Anupamaa is not the problem, as she will be ready to divorce him easily, but Anirudh will never give divorce to Kavya as he still loves her.
Anirudh enters and says Vanraj is right. Anirudh calls Vanraj football as he keeps rolling between Anupamaa and Kavya.
Anirudh tells Kavya that Vanraj tried to get back with Anupamaa in the temple, but Anupamaa did not accept him, so now Vanraj has come to Kavya. Kavya asks Anirudh not to mix more poison in her relationship with Vanraj. Kavya says she wants a divorce. Anirudh says he is ready to divorce Kavya, but she has to pay him Rs 60 Lakhs.
Vanraj calls Anirudh shameless for asking money from Kavya. Anirudh says Kavya likes shameless men like Vanraj, so even he is trying to become shameless. Anirudh explains to Kavya that they took a flat, which is worth 1crore 20 lakhs, so he needs the half money for his flat.
Later, Anupamaa walks on the road, recollecting the time she spent with Vanraj and how he betrayed her. Anupamaa meets the lawyer with Sanjay.
The lawyer asks Anupamaa if she surely wants to divorce Vanraj because he always notices that women try to save their relationship with some adjustments.
Anupamaa says she just wants to get separated from Vanraj and doesn’t need anything from him nor wants to blame him for cheating on her.
The lawyer makes the divorce papers and sends them to Vanraj.
Meanwhile, Vanraj goes to his office. A peon comes to Vanraj and gives him the divorce papers. Vanraj thinks Anirudh agreed to divorce Kavya. Vanraj gets shocked to see his and Anupamaa’s name in the divorce papers.
Vanraj rushes home and asks Anupamaa what is going on. Anupamaa says she wants to break their relationship.
Baa tries to convince Anupamaa to forget everything. Anupamaa says to forgive Vanraj she has to forget her self-respect and her identity.
Vanraj says he wanted to make a new start and also he went back to Anupamaa, but she did not accept him. Anupamaa says after she rejected Vanraj, he immediately went to Kavya. Anupamaa says she does not want Kavya to suffer as she did, so she will close one door permanently for Vanraj.
