The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa having breakfast with Baa, Bapuji and the children. They talk and have fun. Vanraj from distance eats bread toast and sees them having fun. A woman come near the door and ask if it is Kavya Shah’s house. Kavya goes to welcome her and tells everyone that this is her full-time maid Geeta. Kavya says she will be living with them which shocks everyone. Geeta says before she starts working, few terms and conditions they have to agree. She says she was told she will have to serve only two people but there are so many people in the house including the elderly. Kavya says she only has to serve her and her husband. Geeta says she will need her own room, she will not share her charger, not eat what they eat and will watch her favourite serial after finishing work.
Baa tells Geeta that she will not let her touch her TV, Geeta says she will watch it on her phone. Kavya agrees to all her conditions and shows her the kitchen. She tells her to only follow her orders and make breakfast for her and Vanraj. Anupamaa offers Geeta tea in their cup which impresses Geeta. Kavya tells Vanraj that she has told Geeta to prepare breakfast. Vanraj tells her she should have asked the family’s permission before keeping a full-time maid. He says that they will feel uncomfortable with her presence. Kavya tells him that they should just get used to it.
Geeta serves lotus root sabji to Vanraj and Kavya. Vanraj eats it and starts coughing, Anupamaa comes with water and reminds Kavya that Vanraj is allergic to Lotus root. Geeta says that she was not informed. Kavya apologises. Vanraj gets a call saying they are waiting for him for the interview. Vanraj asks Kavya why she didn’t inform him about the interview. Kavya says it’s a startup company so she denied them. Vanraj after taking the call comes back to the family and tells them he is going for the interview in a small company as he thought it’s better to get a high designated job in a small company than getting a low designated job in a big company. He looks at Anupamaa and Anupamaa smiles.
Kavya tells Anupamaa to stay away from her husband. Anupamaa tells her if she wanted to be near him she wouldn’t have divorced him. Vanraj visits a friend’s cafe and says everyone wants young blood in their company these days. His friend says due to the same reason he decided to start on his own. Kavya tells Geeta to give snacks to Vanraj after he returns. She tells Geeta she can rest till then. Anupamaa tells Baa to stop calling Kavya other names in front of children.
