The episode of Anupamaa starts with Vanraj taunting Anupamaa that her attitude has changed after the divorce. He asks her if she doesn’t feel ashamed to take a stranger man’s help like Advait to get what she wants. He says that he can see how she jokes and laughs with him. Vanraj tells her that she forgot that she is a mother of three and moved on so quickly. Anupamaa tells him to shut up. She says that she will not take his nonsense anymore. She says that a man and woman can be good friends without having affairs in name of friendship. Whatever she is doing is for herself and if her laughter hurts him he says he should shut his ears. Anupamaa says she will keep moving forward courageously.
Kavya tells Anupamaa that she will get a divorce from Anirudh soon. She thanks Anupamaa for forcing Vanraj to divorce. Kavya tells her that she is planning to get married to Vanraj in the resort. She says that she won’t stop her from meeting her children and Baa, Bapuji after marriage but by coming repeatedly she will lose her respect. Anupamaa says she will keep it in mind. She tells Kavya that she will teach her music and dance and give 20% off. Kavya says that she should be her bridesmaid. Anupamaa says that she will attend the wedding as a normal neighbour. Dolly fumes asking Vanraj if he really wants to marry Kavya. Vanraj says he has a job interview and doesn’t want to be disturbed. Baa says that Kavya will never marry Vanraj.
Advait informs Anupamaa about her surgery. He says she should be ready and convince her family. Anupamaa thinks that she needs to do her work before surgery. Vanraj is giving his online interview. He gets disturbed by Anupamaa’s loud music. The interviewer says that he can’t take the interview with such a distraction. Vanraj gets angry and breaks Anupamaa’s music system. He tells her that because of her his interview is ruined. The whole family gather. Anupamaa tells him that if he would have informed her, she would have practised somewhere else. He tells her that she is doing it on purpose to show him that he is not working. He warns her that he will break her ghungroo. Anupamaa says that he has broken her ghungroo before, but couldn’t break her. She puts on her headset and continues dancing.
After a while, Anupamaa thinks that she has to inform the family about surgery. Kavya goes to her divorce hearing. Vanraj tells her that after her divorce they will get married. Anupamaa comes and gives her reports to Baa and says she needs surgery. Toshu asks why. Anupamaa says that she has cancer, she didn’t inform them because of Samar and Nandini’s engagement. The whole family is shocked. Vanraj comes and shows her his and Kavya’s wedding invitation card. He asks her how it is and says that she is invited. Anupamaa says that Kavya already told her and she has agreed to come to the wedding. Anupamaa leaves, Samar tells him that it was not the right timing and shows him Anupamaa’s reports. Vanraj is shocked to read about cancer.
