The episode of Anupamaa starts with Vanraj dragging Anupamaa to a room after reading her report. Anupamaa tells him to not create any drama. He asks her if she is not afraid. She says she needs to fight this. Vanraj tells her that she needs his help. She tells him that he should stop making everything about him. She says it is her fight and she has decided to fight it alone. He tells her that stubbornness is not good. She says that she will be alright after surgery, so he should stop worrying and go before Kavya collapses. Kavya is outside the door, she tells Vanraj that he needs to move forward. Anupamaa thinks that as long as she and Vanraj are together they will keep fighting, she hopes to go home soon.
Samar pleads to Advait to save his mummy. He says that he read on the internet that surgery is difficult. Advait tells him to pray to God instead. He advises him to keep Anupamaa’s willpower strong so that her subconscious mind will give her the power to survive. Vanraj and Kavya head towards the divorce court. Kavya says that she is very happy. Vanraj is busy in his thoughts. She asks him if he is tensed because of Anupamaa’s illness. He tells her not to talk about that and tells her to postpone marriage. She tells him to stop worrying about Anupamaa. They reach the court. Anirudh comes there and asks Vanraj how he is feeling after the divorce. He says that he got divorced just three days ago and has come for Kavya’s divorce. He says Vanraj must be really desperate to marry, now that he doesn’t even care about his wife’s illness. Vanraj looks angrily at Kavya.
Anirudh tells him to stop looking angrily at Kavya as she is still his wife. Vanraj holds his collar, Kavya tells them to stop fighting. The lawyer comes and tells them to go to the judge. Anirudh tells Kavya that he will tell the judge that he doesn’t want a divorce as he loves her. Vanraj says that if he doesn’t know what he wants why is he here. Anirudh tells Vanraj that he tried to cancel his divorce at the last minute. He says that Kavya told him about it. Kavya shouts at them to stop. She tells Anirudh that she needs divorce at any cost. Baa comes to Anupamaa with prasad and says that she had told her maa to do pooja for her. Anupamaa thanks her for coming.
Baa says that she told her to not take divorce but she didn’t listen. Anupamaa says that even she didn’t listen to her regarding Samar and Nandini’s engagement. Anupamaa says that they have become more close now. She says that she doesn’t mind anyone’s taunts but when Baa taunts her it hurts. She says she considers Baa closer than her mother. Baa says she decided to not talk to Anumapaa but always looks at her window. Anupamaa says the relationship is broken but their bond has become stronger. Vanraj is tensed thinking if Kavya and Anirudh’s divorce is finalized he will have to marry Kavya the next day. He hopes that they don’t divorce quickly.
