The episode of Anupamaa starts with Nandini telling Kavya she will only attend the wedding if Samar, Toshu and Kinjal come. Rakhi comes in and says that she will attend samdhan’s wedding and give her gifts. Baa comes in with Kavya’s Mehendi. She sees Rakhi and reacts. Rakhi says she came here because she was missing Baa. Baa asks whether she was missing her or came for drama. Rakhi says both. Vanraj comes to Anupamaa and says that he wants to tell her something. He says that he doesn’t want to marry Kavya as she cannot be Anupamaa and can’t take care of his family. He says he thought he loved Kavya but there is no understanding between them. Anupamaa says that in their relationship they have understanding and not love and he realized it after 25 years. He says he is doing the same with Kavya after nine years.
Rakhi comes in and says that she heard something she shouldn’t. Anupamaa hugs her and says where is Kinjal. She says she will come soon. Rakhi asks Anupamaa how she is feeling and taunts Vanraj regarding marriage. He walks away fuming. Anupamaa tells her she will not change, and asks her to not create any drama. Rakhi says that there is already so much drama she just came to enjoy it. Rakhi thinks that she didn’t want Aupamaa to divorce but since Kavya will be her new samdhan she should be on her side.
Advait gathers everyone to show Kavya and Vanraj’s wedding mandap. Kavya with excitement unveils it. She says it’s really beautiful and thanks Advait for setting it up. He tells her if she wants any changes they can do it tomorrow. Kavya in excitement tells Pakhi to click pictures but she doesn’t react. She asks Baa, Samar and Toshu if they like the arrangements but they don’t react as well. Kavya tells Baa to perform a ritual but she walks away. Everyone walks away except Rakhi. Rakhi tells Kavya that she heard Vanraj and Anupamaa’s conversation and it looks like Vanraj is confused about marriage. She says that their relationship is broken but the bond is still there. Kavya tells her that marriage will happen no matter what.
Baa says she doesn’t want to attend the wedding. Dolly says that that bhai will feel bad. Vanraj looks for a balm for his headache, he tells Toshu that he is confused. Toshu says that he can’t help him as he has to make his own decision whether he wants to marry or not. Toshu says he shouldn’t decide something that he will repent for his whole life.
