The episode of Anupamaa starts with Vanraj, Baa and Kavya entering the bhoomi pooja venue and getting furious looking at Anupamaa and Anuj performing pooja together. Bhavesh greets them. Vanraj asks if Anupamaa’s mom didn’t come. Bhavesh says she has knee pain. Baa sits beside Bapuji. He asks why she came. She says because of her son. Bapuji says if her son does any drama he won’t tolerate it. Pandit jee tells Anupamaa and Anuj to imprint their palms on paper. Baa shouts saying this doesn’t happen in Bhoomi pooja. Bapuji says what she is doing doesn’t happen either. Baa asks what is she doing. Bapuji says sitting in anger for pooja. Panditji says Anupamaa and Anuj are business partners from today and he prays for their long-lasting partnership during easier as well as tough times. The palm imprinted paper flies and falls on Vanraj and stains his shirt. He angrily looks at Anupamaa while trying to wipe it off. Kavya hopes Vanraj doesn’t create drama.
Anupamaa and Anuj distribute prasad to everyone. Bhavesh praises Anuj, Baa says even he has joined Anuj’s fan club. Kavya tells Vanraj, Bhavesh doesn’t even talk to him properly while is praising Anuj because he is rich. Anuj offers prasad to Vanraj, he doesn’t take it. Kavya takes the prasad and says they come as he would feel bad. Anuj thanks them for coming. Anupamaa tells Vanraj she knows he didn’t come for pooja and should mind his words and actions. Bapuji tells Baa to control her son from doing what he came to do. Baa says why will she stop her son when he can’t control his daughter. Anuj and Anupamaa interact with the media leaving Baa and Vanraj more frustrated. Kavya tells Vanraj she knows it’s hard for him to watch but with Anuj’s help, even they can become successful. Vanraj says he doesn’t care and will reply to Anuj about his letter once the meeting is over.
Anuj sees Pakhi and asks if she is happy seeing her mom’s success. Pakhi says she is proud. Anuj senses her tension and asks if something is wrong. Pakhi asks if he still loves her mummy. She says papa made a mistake and their parents separated. But she is happy they still can live under the same roof. She may be selfish but she wants her mummy by her side. Anuj says she is not selfish as every child wants their parents around them. He says that he is her mother’s friend and assures their friendship will never come between them. He asks if she can be his friend, she shakes and he gives her a friendly hug. Anupamaa gets happy seeing this while Vanraj gets jealous and calls Pakhi. Vanraj stands in front of Anuj and Anupamaa staring at them. Anupamaa says if he wants to say something he should say it. Vanraj says he doesn’t need her permission to speak. Anupamaa says neither she nor Anuj can read minds, so he should speak up. Vanraj shows Anuj’s letter and says he doesn’t like charity and bribes.
Anuj says he doesn’t take decisions alone. The team of experts must have liked his business proposal and sent him a letter. He says when a start-up gets an investor, they either thank or deny him. But Vanraj is the first entrepreneur to insult his investor. Vanraj shouts he insulted him instead and is acting as he is generous. Anuj asks if he didn’t want the job why he visited his office and submitted his proposal. Vanraj says he came to compete there and not win a consolation prize. Anupamaa says they should talk about it in the office. Vanraj says when everything is happening in open, why should they discuss it in 4 walls. Anupamaa and Anuj angrily warn him. Vanraj laughs saying they proved his doubt. They wanted him to get away from their way so did this charity. Vanraj says Anuj thinks only about profits. Anupamaa asks what they will get in this. Vanraj says his biggest profit is that he standing in front of her.
