The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kavya recollecting Anupamaa’s taunts. Kavya thinks that Vanraj didn’t directly come to her, but Bapuji kicked him out of the house, so he had no other option than going to Kavya.
Vanraj comes to Kavya and hugs her. He thanks Kavya for hosting the party for Pakhi and for making her day special. Kavya thinks that Anupamaa gave her taunt, but Kavya gave her pain. Kavya smiles and says that she is happy for Pakhi.
Vanraj asks Kavya if she has any problem if Pakhi comes and stays with them. Kavya says if Vanraj is happy, then she won’t have any problem.
Kavya asks Vanraj when he will be consulting a lawyer for his and Anupamaa’s divorce. Vanraj tries to avoid it and goes to freshen up.
Meanwhile, Toshu is upset thinking that Vanraj is thinking about himself and Rakhi is thinking about herself then why can’t Kinjal and Toshu think about themselves and why they have to carry their family, and it’s a burden.
Next morning, Baa and Anupamaa are calculating all house expenses. Baa says that their income is less and expense is more.
Anupamaa says that they will cut their expenses and manage somehow. Baa says that it is difficult to manage, as they are habitual with all the luxurious things.
Mama, Bapuji, Toshu, Samar and Jhilmil hear Baa’s conversation with Anupamaa and think of cutting down their expenses.
Toshu and Samar think of doing some part-time job.
Jhilmil tells Anupamaa that she doesn’t need her salary as she has money for now. She asks Anupamaa to give her salary when Anupamaa will have money.
Bapuji cuts down his medicine to avoid a lot of expense.
Anupamaa calls Devika to meet in a hotel as she has a financial crisis and needs a job. Devika says that she is trying to find a job for Anupamaa but it is difficult.
On the other hand, Vanraj comes to the same hotel for the meeting. Vanraj gets the new project for which Vanraj and Kavya struggled a lot.
Vanraj goes back to his office and surprises Kavya with their new project.
Meanwhile, Kinjal tells Toshu that Rakhi was with her and she couldn’t answer the phone. Kinjal says that she will meet him soon. Rakhi stops Kinjal and asks where she is going. Kinjal says that her friend Shreya wants to meet her.
Rakhi catches Kinjal’s lie and asks her to go to her room.
Rakhi thinks that she can’t see her daughter upset and needs to do something.
