Anupamaa and Vanraj continue talking about how Vanraj keeps breaking everyone’s hearts and that he has no place in Anupamaa’s life anymore. Anupamaa makes it very clear to him that he is not welcomed back in her life and that she is only helping him recover for her family’s sake. She asks him to stop breaking hearts and betraying everyone all over again. Vanraj tries to convince her that he wants to live with his family and be happy. But he also understands her anger and frustration over him.
Anupamaa meets Samar and talks to him about what happened when Baa overhears him and yells at Anupamaa. She scolds her and tells her that she needs to accept Vanraj in her life again since he is apologetic now. Bapuji enters and supports Anupamaa’s decision but Baa goes on and on about how the past is in the past and that Vanraj has suffered for his terrible mistakes already by now.
Baa orders Anupamaa to let Vanraj stay in the house or there would be consequences. Bapuji warns Baa not to say such things. Bapuji and Baa go back and forth about Anupamaa’s decision when Bapuji finally takes her out. Samar asks Anupamaa to not take any decisions in haste.
Pakhi asks Vanraj for permission for her school trip to Nainital. He gives her permission and suggests that everybody takes a trip to Nainital for a few days as a family.
Kinjal asks Anupamaa if she is okay and that she should visit the temple. She agrees to go and Vanraj follows her as well. Anupamaa goes to the temple in the evening and Vanraj sits next to her. She follows a ritual by putting sindoor on Mataji. Vanraj insists that he would apply sindoor on Anupamaa but she stops him.
