The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kavya telling Pakhi that she wants to celebrate Vanraj’s birthday in her house. Pakhi says Baa, Anupamaa and her family are at home.
Kavya says every year Vanraj used to celebrate his birthday at his house, so this time they can try something new. Pakhi thinks every year, she used to plan a birthday party for Vanraj, but this time Kavya is planning. Pakhi nods and goes into the room.
Kavya then asks Vanraj if they both will get private time on their birthday. Kavya says Pakhi can go to stay with Anupamaa for 2 days, while they will get to enjoy Vanraj’s birthday. Pakhi hears their conversation.
Vanraj says she cannot tell Pakhi to go to Anupamaa until she decides to go on her own. Vanraj then says that he has a counselling meeting with Anupamaa.
Kavya asks him if she can join. Vanraj says he can handle everything.
Anupamaa and Vanraj go for their counselling. Anupamaa asks Vanraj if he is worried. Vanraj says no and asks if Anupamaa is worried.
Anupamaa says no at first time but then says she is worried. Vanraj also says he is worried and is getting a weird feeling.
The counsellor calls them and asks them the reason why they are trying to get separated. Anupamaa says she was betrayed and cannot stay in this marriage. The counsellor tries to solve their problems, but Anupamaa signs the divorce papers and asks Vanraj to sign in the papers.
