The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kavya crying. Vanraj asks Kavya why she is crying. Kavya says every year Vanraj celebrates his birthday with his family, and she is left alone.
Vanraj says he loves Kavya and will never leave her alone. Kavya says she is Vanraj’s love and not his priority. Vanraj replies if Kavya is not his priority, then he would have never stayed with Kavya.
Vanraj explains that he has broken relations with Anupamaa, but he still has relations with his family.
Meanwhile, Kinjal says she is going for a conference meeting at a resort. Baa says it’s Vanraj’s birthday, she has kept pooja, so Baa asks Kinjal to take leave. Kinjal says she is the head of the project, so she has to go.
Baa says Toshu is taking leave, and Kinjal also has to take a leave. Kinjal says Toshu works under her mother, so whenever he wants he can take leave. Toshu comes and asks Kinjal not to taunt him for his job.
Baa says if Kinjal is going, then Kavya will also go to the resort and Vanraj can come to their house for the celebration. Anupamaa thinks what if Kavya takes Vanraj with her.
At midnight, Anupamaa recollects wishing Vanraj.
Vanraj goes to Pakhi and notices that Pakhi is sleeping. Vanraj says Pakhi always wishes him 1st and today she went to sleep early. Pakhi recollects hearing Kavya’s conversation, where Kavya said that she needs her privacy and Pakhi is in their house, so they never get privacy.
Kavya gets a cake for Vanraj, he cuts the cake. Pakhi watches Vanraj cutting the cake and cries.
Baa calls Vanraj and wishes him a happy birthday. Baa recollects all of Vanraj’s childhood memories. Bapuji, Toshu, Kinjal and Mamaji also wish Vanraj.
Baa asks Vanraj to come to their house in the morning as they have pooja. Vanraj stays silent. Kavya asks Vanraj to tell Baa that they are going to resort and he will not be able to come for the pooja.
Anupamaa says she did not hear Pakhi’s voice. Baa says Pakhi must be busy eating cake. Anupamaa worries if Pakhi is in tension.
