The episode of Anupamaa starts with Samar telling Nandini in a video call that she should not inform Anupamaa of the issues, which they have kept secret, as she already is in tension.
Vanraj comes and asks Samar if he cannot understand his warning, and needs to try some other methods. Samar says Vanraj can try different methods to separate Samar from Nandini, but will never succeed.
Vanraj tells Samar that tomorrow is a big day for him, as it is Maha Shivratri, and doesn’t want Samar to create any problems and do whatever he wants. Samar says he did not think about it, but now he will definitely do whatever he feels like.
The next morning, Vanraj walks in traditional attire towards Anupamaa. Anupamaa completes her pooja arrangement and says Baa and Kavya are getting ready and will be there soon.
Anupamaa says they will start their rituals, as she does it every year. Anupamaa prepares rudraksha mala for Vanraj and applies vibhuti on his forehead. Vanraj applies kumkum on Anupamaa’s hairline. Kavya sees that and gets jealous.
Meanwhile, Baa asks Bapuji to explain Vanraj and Samar not to argue. Bapuji says he will talk to Vanraj and Samar separately after pooja.
Vanraj gets a call, and the person says that Vanraj’s job application has been rejected. Vanraj gets angry and says no one is ready to give him a job when he is ready to work at half salary. Anupamaa says Bholenath will make everything right.
Samar goes to Nandini and hugs her. He asks Nandini to get ready and come for the pooja. Nandini denies. Samar says Nandini has to come for the pooja, and no one will tell her anything.
Later, the pooja starts. Kavya tries to sit beside Vanraj, but Baa stops her and says Bapuji and Vanraj’s sons will sit beside him.
Vanraj, Samar and Toshu perform the pooja. Everyone sits for meditation, but Vanraj opens his eyes, recollecting Baa scolding him for recent incidents. Vanraj gets angry seeing Nandini with Samar.
