The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa falling unconscious, Vanraj holds her, Kavya enters and helps Anupamaa sleep on the bed. Anupamaa says that she was going to call her, Kavya tells her to rest and they can talk later. Kavya sees an artificial tree with messages on so asks a passerby what it is, he says it’s a wish tree. Kavya reads a positive note and writes that everyone has problems in their lives but they have a lot of it so God so takes it away from them. The nurse tells them to go out as she needs to do a check up on Anupamaa. Kavya and Vanraj exit the room. Later Nandini visits Anupamaa calling her rockstar and asks how she is doing. Anupamaa says that she is fine, she was worried about Vanraj but when she meets him she realises that he wasn’t worried about anyone. She says that when you hit a mountain again and again it cracks she is still a human. Nandini tells her to be strong and says that she is very grateful to meet someone like her.
Vanraj asks Kavya why she came here. She says if he has nothing to say he shouldn’t be asking insulting questions. She tells him that she has realized that she is just an option for him, not his priority. She loved a man and not tennis ball who shuttles from one side to another. Vanraj says that she is not aware of his suffering. She says he shouldn’t be using the victim card as he is responsible for his situation while, while She and Anupamaa are suffering because of him. He should make up his mind and tell her his decision as she won’t let him back down at the end moment. Hearing their conversation Nandini follows Kavya and asks her if she is okay. Kavya responds saying no. She says she is in the same spot for 8 years, she is trying to change the situation but she can’t. She says that she was a strong independent girl but now runs behind Vanraj like a puppet and doesn’t even have her own house. Nandini says she should do something about it. She says she has asked Vanraj to make a choice between her and Anupamaa.
Kavya goes to Anupamaa’s room. Anupamaa asks her if she talked with Vanraj. She says yes, Anupamaa says he must have not responded properly. Kavya says that she has lost all her patience because of him. She says that she has told him to make a choice and not shift from one side to the another. Samar calls Vanraj to asks about Anupamaa. He says she is fine but can’t give her the phone as the doctor is checking her. Samar tells him that every time he tries to get close to him, he pushes him away. Vanraj says he will never understand, Samar says that he can’t understand what mummy is going through. Vanraj thinks that everyone wants him to understand them, but nobody wants to understand him.
Anupamaa tells Kavya to calm down or else they will have to admit her to the next room. Kavya laughs and says if they would have met somewhere else they would have been friends. Anupamaa says she did consider her as a friend. She says the three are stuck in this situation now. Kavya says only they are stuck and not Kavya, Anupamaa says they are struggling while Vanraj is watching the drama. Kavya says, typical men. They both bond and share their emotions.
