The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anumapaa telling Vanraj that he has to follow one relationship completely. She wants this story to end before her life ends. Advait tells Kavya that harnessing anger isn’t good for her, he gives her a bat and tells her to remove her anger on the ball. She keeps hitting the ball aggressively. Vanraj sees Kavya and Advait and comes there. He catches the ball that Kavya hits. She says sorry as she didn’t know he would come. Advait tells Vanraj that he is happy seeing Anupamaa relaxed. He says he didn’t know Kavya and Vanraj were, Kavya interprets and says they are not together, she doesn’t know if she is his wife or his girlfriend. Vanraj tells her to stop, she says it’s the truth. They start arguing. Advait tells them to not argue in public. They apologize; he says that he doesn’t interfere in personal matters but since they are arguing in public they should take his opinion. Advait tells Kavya that holding on to anger will make her ill and he tells Vanraj to make a choice between the two.
Vanraj and Advait rush to Anupamaa as Samar calls out her name in a worried tone. They find her lying on the floor. Vanraj asks Anupamaa if she is okay, she says she is fine. Advait asks her what happened. Samar says mummy climbed the mango tree to pluck mangos and fell. Vanraj says she should have told him, she says she used to tell him many times to pluck mango from the tree outside their house, but he would never do it. Anumapaa says if she survives this illness after divorce she has to do chores by herself. She goes inside to make aamras. Baa asks Vanraj why he is angry, he says that Anupamaa is ill. Baa tells him that she knows she is old but when someone calls her old she gets angry,. Similarly knowing that the person is ill and accepting illness is different. She says let Anupamaa live with her lively nature.
Nandini sees Anumapaa cooling mangoes in water and asks her why she isn’t cooling them in the fridge. She says cooling them in water gives them a unique taste. She says she will go get milk as Sweety and her Papa like mango milkshake, Anupamaa leaves. Nandini sees Samar standing and smiling, she asks him why he is smiling. He says he likes when she helps his mummy and thanks her for being there during her sick days. Nandini says she is her Aunty too, he insists she should start calling her mummy, as they will be marrying soon. He kisses her cheek and they start messing around.
Vanraj sees Anupamaa cutting mangos in the kitchen and goes near her, he asks if he can have a piece and takes one. He says this place is very nice. She says her childhood house was similar to this one, with trees and birds chirping. She says she feels like her childhood has returned. He picks a mango slice with a smiley on it. Anupamaa says that Samar drew it for Nandini. She says that they should do their engagement soon. Vanraj says it’s not a bad idea. Anupamaa only hears the word bad idea and starts scolding him without listening to him. He holds her mouth and says it’s a good idea and says they should do the engagement program in the hotel itself. She gets excited and offers him more mangoes.
