The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa supporting Nandini, she says that nobody will question Nandini. Vanraj asks Anupamaa how she can hide such a big thing from them, Dolly and Baa agree with him. Anupamaa tells Vanraj that he will not understand women’s problem but Baa and Dolly shouldn’t be blaming Nandini. She says that Nandini told her some time ago and says that she did the right thing by not hiding it until marriage. Baa asks if she means Nandini is right and they are all wrong. Anupamaa says that this not a small pain but a big pain for Nandini as well. She says she is proud of Samar for not leaving Nandini after knowing the truth. Vanraj says that he agreed to the engagement even when he realised that Nandini is elder than Samar, but he can’t agree with this. He says that Samar doesn’t realise now but when he grows old, he will realise the importance of children. Baa tells Anupamaa that she divorced and left the family, but she wants to be a great grandmother and is worried about proliferating her family. Anupamaa asks if proliferating is important than children’s happiness.
Anupamaa says that they can adopt if they want. Baa says one can’t become a mother by adopting. Anupamaa says one becomes a mother by heart and not by giving birth. Nandini asks them to not fight because of her. Samar says it’s not Nandini’s fault. He asks them what they would have done if the accident had happened after marriage. Nandini asks Kavya why she is not supporting her. She says that Kavya is selfish and not like Anupamaa. Samar asks Baa Bapuji’s great grandfather’s name. She says she doesn’t know. Samar says she is worried about the family’s tree growing, but doesn’t even know the whole family. Vanraj tells him to shut up.
Advait says that Nandini can give birth with advanced medical treatments so they don’t have to fight about it. Vanraj tells him to not interfere. Samar confronts Vanraj for insulting Advait. He tells Samar to shut up. Toshu tells them to calm down. He reminds Samar about what he told him earlier. Samar says that he has not taken the responsibility for the family tree to grow. Anupamaa tells Vanraj to not stretch the issue. Baa throws that engagement ring and shagun coin thali saying Nandini cannot become bahu of this family. Vanraj says he agrees with Baa.
Anupamaa picks up the ring and shagun coin thali and says the issue doesn’t end like this. Baa tells Anupamaa that now she is an outsider and not a member of the family. Anupamaa says that in 25 hours her 25 years of relation and bond is also broken, but she will fight for her children’s happiness. Nandini and Samar say that they don’t want to get married without the family blessing. Vanraj and Baa leave. Anupamaa tells Nandini and Samar that their marriage will happen with the approval of the family, she tells them to not worry. They hug each other and cry.
