The episode of Anupamaa starts with Kavya coming to Vanraj and rubbing her Haldi-applied hands on his cheeks. She says that his family doesn’t want to come to the wedding but they have to, so does he. She indirectly threatens him to come to the wedding. Rakhi asks Kavya if Vanraj also doesn’t want to attend the marriage like other family members. Kavya says no matter what the marriage will happen. She says she will teach a lesson to everyone after marriage. Rakhi tells her that everyone calls her Nagin but Kavya is real poison. She tells Kavya to not trouble Toshu and Kinjal after marriage. Anupamaa overhears their conversation.
Vanraj gets tensed thinking about marriage. Kavya comes and brings clothes for the family. She reminds Vanraj of the time and tells him to bring his family for the marriage. Vanraj feels helpless, he goes to talk with Anupamaa. Anupamaa says she doesn’t want to talk about his marriage. He says he wants to share his feeling, she tells him to share them with Kavya. He says she won’t understand. Kavya and Rakhi see Vanraj and Anupamaa, she calls Vanraj and tells him to get ready. Kavya sees Anupamaa going to the room and thinks, Anupamaa won’t be attending the marriage but will feel defeated.
Anupamaa goes inside her room and gets a call from Advait. He asks if she wants to make an appointment today. She says okay. Anupamaa thanks God for giving her an excuse to not attend the marriage. Baa tells Vanraj if he doesn’t want to marry Kavya, he should not. Pakhi comes to put tikka for Vanraj. She congratulates him. Baa says she doesn’t want to see Kavya’s face. Toshu thinks about what will happen after marriage.
Anupamaa is about to leave when Kavya comes. Kavya asks her how she is looking. Anumapaa says very beautiful. Kavya says today she and Vanraj will look like a match made in heaven. Anupamaa says they already are and asks why she is here. Kavya says she wanted Anupamaa to see her before Vanraj. Anupamaa tells her that her mother had brought a glass doll for her, she went to show it to her friend to make her jealous. She says but her friend didn’t get jealous instead her glass doll fell and broke while returning. Anupamaa gives Kavya a befitting reply and leaves.
