The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anupamaa telling Kavya that Vanraj won’t stay in the cafe all day. Kinjal tells Vanraj she will give him files and asks Vanraj for his suggestions. Vanraj agrees. Anupamaa looks at her family being unhappy and gets sad. Samar gets her a coffee and asks why she is sad. Anupamaa says that the family is unhappy. She says Kavya and Kinjal have to work outside as well as come home and work. Samar asks why she is thinking about Kavya. Anupamaa says they should support all women who work hard. She says she will do all the household work to give Kinjal and Kayva rest. Samar says she is not well how will she manage work, dance and household work. Anupamaa says he will help her in dance and in serving Baa and Bapuji. Bapuji says he will help too. Baa says she will also help. They all cut vegetables together.
Anupamaa’s brother informs her that their mother is ill. Anupamaa feels bad to go to her mother as she will have to leave all work on Kinjal. Bapuji says she is no longer a bahu, so she isn’t bound to work for them. Next, morning Anupamaa prepares breakfast, Kinjal comes to help but Anupamaa tells her to concentrate on work. Anupamaa takes her tiffin and leaves. Kinjal asks Baa where Anupamaa went in a hurry. Baa informs her that her mother is ill. Kavya tells Kinjal that Anupamaa escaped leaving all the work on her. Kinjal tells her that mummy has already prepared food.
In the evening Anupamaa comes back with vegetables. She tells the family she has to go as her mother’s condition is critical. Baa tells Kinjal to prepare roties. Kavya says they have an online meeting. Baa says she asked Kinjal and not her. Kavya provokes Kinjal saying Anupamaa left the work on her and went. Baa complains that Kinjal’s roties are thick. She teaches her how to make it thin which irritates Kinjal. The next morning Baa tells Kinjal that her sabudana is uncooked and she should give it to cows. Baa also throws tantrum when Kinjal serves her tea saying it’s not boiled properly.
Kinjal tells Baa that she has an online meeting going on. Baa says Anupamaa used to never make such mistakes. Kinjal gets angry and tells Baa that she is not Anupamaa and they shouldn’t expect her to be like Anupamaa. Anupamaa gets hurt hearing that. She goes to talk to Kinjal. Anupamaa tells her that boss is not always right but they listen to him and take his scolding. In the same way they elders are not always correct and they should still respect them. Kinjal tells Anupamaa that Baa treats her differently than her.
