Anupama prays to God that the peace and prosperity of Shah House last forever. She tells Baa that it doesn’t appear to be staying, as it never does when a daughter is insulted. Mamaji asks that you not say that. Bapuji enters and tells her to go; he will say his goodbyes to her daughter today. Anu claims she won’t be able to remain today. Bapuji claims he won’t since he understands what Vanraj, Baa, and Kavya must have said. Bapuji claims to know Anu’s capability and advises her to take her self-respect and all she desires, except guilt. Mamaji claims that Anu built this house as a temple, but that Vanraj and Baa’s cheap words transformed it into a market, and that devi/god never remains in a market. Bapuji tells Anu to leave and that if somebody raises a finger at her, she should cut it off like a kalimaa. She then packs her belongings and family photographs, prays one final time at the house temple, touches Baa’s feet, turns her face, then touches Bapuji and Mamaji’s feet and accepts their blessings, hugs her children, and exits Shah House with her bags. She claims that this house has given her both love and suffering, that love has become her nest, and that pain will let her fly; Bapuji weeps, claiming that her daughter has left.
Samar walks alongside Anu and warns her that she is heading in the wrong route. Samar inquires of God as to why he did this to mummy. He caused her suffering, and he should give her the strength to cope, or he will lose faith in her. Anuj phones Anu, then Samar, and asks why Anu isn’t picking up the phone. Anuj is taken aback when he hears what has happened. Back at Shah’s house, Baa claims she has battled and humiliated Anu before, but she has never left the house; Anuj searches Anu. Anu goes to a park and sits down.
