At the beginning of the episode, Paritosh goes on to state that mummy/Anupama had to leave her family and home due to Anuj, and that he will be the cause of her demise. Paritosh accuses Anuj of causing a son to divorce his mother because of him; he wanted to remove mummy from her family and spend time with her, and he will pay for it.
Anuj feels terrible and claims that Paritosh was correct in saying that everything happened because of him and that he is the source of her issues. Kinjal, arguing with Paritosh, comes home and tells him he can’t stop her from visiting mummy’s house or mummy from seeing Anuj. Mummy and Anuj’s friendship, says Paritosh. Anuj feels bad and tells Anupamaa that he shouldn’t have returned from the United States and met her at a college reunion party and that he will return to the United States. Paritosh returns to Shah House and informs Vanraj that Rakhi has fired him and taken his Pendrive because of Anupamaa and Anuj. Baa curses that Anuj and Anupamaa ruined their house and that they will never be at peace. Anuj walks in and urges her to curse him rather than Anupamaa. She only loved one, and that was Vanraj; she only has tremendous love in her heart for the Shah family, particularly Baa; he is surprised to see Anupamaa still adoring Baa after what she did, but she is Anupamaa, who only understands how to distribute love; Baa, not Anupamaa, can curse him, and Vanraj, not Anupamaa, can ridicule and fight with him.
He goes on to say that it’s all his fault, not Anupamaa’s and that if they keep humiliating and character assassinating her, she’ll snap, therefore they should spare her. Anupamaa is the mother of his children, so he has the right to attack her, but Anuj has no right to defend her. Anuj claims that Anupamaa does not adore him. Vanraj exclaims, “Enough with the drama!” and accepts that he loves Anupamaa. Anuj requests that the accusations against Anupamaa be dropped. Vanraj claims that there is fire on both sides, that they both love each other, and that he should recognise his feelings for Anupamaa. Anuj acknowledges his feelings for Anupamaa.
