At the start, Anupamaa presents Anuj with a chocolate halwa. Anuj inquires as to what kind of combo this is. She claims that he enjoys chocolate and she enjoys halwa, so she combined the two. This, he claims, is the ideal combo. When Samar notices them laughing, he expresses his gratitude to Kanhaji for safeguarding their friendship. Anupamaa claims she needs to leave the office early today because she needs to perform puja at her house and then go to the dance academy. Kavya, on the other hand, phones Vanraj but he doesn’t pick up, so she texts him to call back, thinking it’s her first Diwali after marriage and he’s not with her because of Anupamaa and Anuj, and she knows what to do without fear. Anupamaa prepares for Diwali pooja and believes that the children and Bapuji should perform the puja with Baa and then dance with her in the dance academy. Anuj claims that he no longer feels guilty about keeping his secret from Anupamaa; instead, they have a friendship based on trust and respect. Baa states that after pooja, they will perform pooja in Vanraj’s cafeteria. For pooja, Bapuji says he’ll go to Anupamaa’s dance academy. He claims he didn’t want to, but he came after remembering Anupamaa’s remarks that celebration and grudge don’t mix. He claims that she went to Anupamaa’s house, and that he, too, is going to the dancing academy, and that he would give Bapuji a ride. Baa claims she will make Anupamaa and Anuj an unexpected offer and break up with them. Bapuji claims that they are ancient but not obsolete and that they will be upgraded over time.

Vanraj misses Anupamaa in his motel room. Kavya inquires about Baa’s offer to Anupamaa and Anuj. Baa says she came to finish an important task, recalls all the recent fights following Anuj’s entry, and says there are fights in their house following Anuj’s entry, and she wants her family to be normal again, even if they stay apart; Anupamaa says Baa knows she can do anything for the happiness and peace of her family. Anuj says he doesn’t want them to cause any problems, and he asks what they should do.
