In the beginning, Anuj gives Anupamaa a Shayari in which he expresses his affection for her and declares, “I love you.” When a few goons barge in, she calls out and walks towards him. Vanraj requests someone to thank his madam for listening to his idea over the phone. Anuj notices his predicament and inquires if he is well. Anuj orders the goons to take everything except Anupamaa. Goons claim to be intelligent and demand that they hand over all of their valuables. Anuj asks for it back and pays him money. Let it go, says Anupamaa. Goon returns the magnet to Anupamaa and requests that she remove her gold jewellery. If Anuj had been alone, he believes he would have taught them a lesson. Anupamaa makes a valiant effort to remove her finger ring. Anuj begs Goon to release her. Goon tries to aggressively remove it, injuring Anupamaa. Anuj becomes enraged and verbally assaults the goon, telling him how dare he touch Anupamaa’s hand. One of them smacks Anupamaa in the face with a hockey stick, wounding her. Anuj takes out his rage on him. Another goon smacks him in the back of the head with an iron rod, knocking him out. The goons flee.
Anupamaa rushes Anuj to the hospital, where the doctor says there isn’t much blood loss, but they need to examine him because he has a brain injury. They take him to the ICU and test him as Anupamaa screams outside, convinced that Anupamaa will never leave Anuj. She next searches her phone for GK from the hospital’s reception, then Samar, and when neither of them picks up, she ultimately calls Vanraj and blabbers that no one was picking up her call, so she phoned him. Yes, she says, and she adds that Anuj is seriously hurt and in the hospital.
