Anuj inquires as to what she intended to say to him. When the doctor enters and informs Anuj that all of his reports are normal, he is concerned about his condition, but his family’s prayers, particularly his wife/love, Anupamaa’s have returned him to life. Anuj claims that Anupamaa isn’t his wife. Anuj begs Anupamaa to speak what she wanted to say once more. Anuj then wonders why Malvika keeps calling him, including on Baa and Bapuji’s anniversary and today.
Vanraj calls Malvika on the phone. He claims she has no reason to be afraid of Anupamaa because he has asked her to move on with Anuj and has moved on himself. Samar says Anuj has been discharged, so he’ll take GK home. Kinjal, who is feeding Paritosh breakfast, explains that Anuj and his mother require home-cooked food, therefore she will pack their meals.
GK is ecstatic to see Anuj. Bapuji teases him, saying he’s too old for that and asks Anupamaa to stay with Anuj and look after him because he can’t take Anuj home owing to the squabble between Kavya and Vanraj. Paritosh suggests staying with mummy and asking her to accompany him to get food for Anuj and clothes for herself before returning here. Anuj claims that she never listened to him or took up his calls, that she constantly calls herself anytime she wants something, and that he hasn’t communicated with her in ten years. Malvika is aware of Anupamaa, according to Anuj, but may feel uncomfortable if she comes here and sees Anuj. Bapuji claims that he approached her and that Paritosh even offered to stay the night; Anuj has done a lot for them, and now it is their turn. Anupamaa remembers Bapuji and Vanraj’s instructions to accept Anuj and Paritosh, Samar, Kinjal, and others as she packs her belongings. Even baaa accepts him.
