In the beginning, Kavya inquires of Anupamaa about Malvika. Anupamaa says she has no idea. Kavya tells her that Anuj hid not only his love for Anupamaa for 26 years but also his passion for Malvika and that all men are the same. Anuj expresses his joy at having his mukku, or sweet, with him today. Kavya mocks him, telling him that while Malvika is hugging Anuj, he should be hugging Mamaji. Malvika reveals Vanraj and reminds Anuj and GK that he neglected to introduce them to her guest. Malvika walks over to Vanraj, holding their hands, and introduces herself as Anuj’s sister. Samar claims that they are quite familiar with one other and that she was the only one who knew about her. Anuj didn’t tell Vanraj that he has a sister, according to Vanraj. She claims to be Anuj’s younger sister, yet speaks to him as if they are the same age.
Vanraj claims that Anuj is a friend and business partner of his ex-wife. When Samar sees Mummy’s face, he exclaims, He doesn’t believe she is aware of Malvika. Malvika gives Anupamaa a warm hug and tells her she knows her well and has met her many times. Malvika expresses herself through Anuj’s gaze, Shayari, speeches, and other means. Anupamaa claims that he is a skilled Shayari writer. Malvika then says she needs to attend guests or they’ll assume it’s a family gathering, and she invites Vanraj, who she refers to as Raj, to accompany her for photos. Kavya objects and introduces himself as Vanraj. Malvika explains that she prefers short forms and departs with Vanraj.
Anuj gives Anupamaa an anxious glance. Anupamaa claims to be paying attention. Anuj apologises, explaining that he didn’t want to keep anything from her. He claims she has doubts but also trusts him since she knows he would never keep anything vital hidden from her. Vanraj is then asked if he is surprised to learn that Anuj is his brother.
