In today’s episode we can see that when Malvika sees a neighbour couple fighting, she has a panic attack. Malvika yells, “Don’t beat me!” and dashes to her room, locking the door from the inside. Anupamaa and Anuj pleadingly request that she open the door. Malvika continues to be terrified and takes pills while muttering, “Don’t beat me.” Anupamaa requests that Anuj use the spare keys to enter the door. Even Anuj, according to Samar, is not picking up the phone. They must be partying at some luxury hotel, Kavya cries, for anything might happen when Malvika is present.
Anupamaa uses her customary skill to open the door and rushes over to Malvika. Malvika continues to be terrified and cries out, “Please don’t hurt me!” Anupamaa assures Malvika that no one is here and points to the medicine strip. She dials Anuj’s number and inquires about Malvika’s medication. He double-checks and says it’s antidepressant medication; he had no idea Mukku took antidepressants. Anupamaa inquires about the events of the previous evening. Don’t beat me, Malvika continues to scream. Anupamaa inquires of Anuj as to why Malvika is saying this and what happened to her.
