In today’s episode, we can see that Anuj continues to hold himself responsible for Malvika’s plight. He claims he should die, but he is unable to do so because he cannot watch Mukku in this state; perhaps she is fleeing her history, from her brother. Anupamaa intervenes. Mukku didn’t say anything when their parents died, and when Akshay departed, she only told him he loved her and her money; Anuj adds when a mountain can’t endure a hit in one location repeatedly, Mukku is a human and has lost everything; Anupamaa consoles both Mukku and Anuj on her lap. Vanraj stayed back there like he was their counsellor, Kavya screams. Anuj and Mukku are continuously causing them problems and ruining their parties. When the new year begins in this manner, Kavya predicts that the entire year will be filled with celebrations.
Vanraj approaches Anupamaa and Anuj and informs them that he had come to see them since they were not answering their phones. He begs Anupamaa to look after Mukku and departs with Anuj. Anupamaa claims that Mukku has been through so much at such a young age that she has punished a perpetrator when Kinjal and Kavya were in the same scenario, and that she and Anuj would now address Mukku’s problem. Kavya believes she had planned to persuade Vanraj on New Year’s Eve, but Vanraj has gone to see his ex, ex’s partner, and her sister, and the four of them have merged like a khichdi. Vanraj provides Anuj with water and assures him that everything will be fine; Anuj attempts to intervene, but Vanraj stops him, explaining that Anupamaa is doing the right thing because Mukku harbours a great deal of rage.
