The episode of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 starts with Priya saying she won’t marry. Meera says she will not stay alive forever to take care of her and her siblings will get busy with their family. Meera tells Priya that her father was a fraud, which doesn’t mean all men are the same. Priya says they both got cheated so now she has no faith in love. Akki says if Priya doesn’t marry no one in this house will get married. Priya argues that she had decided this long back. Sandy says but it was before she met Ram. He says Ram is a diamond. Ram has accepted him as he is doing it for his sister. Priya goes into the room and thinks about Ram. Priya calls Ram asking him to meet her. Ram asks why she wants to meet. Priya says to do what their family wants. She tells him to send his location.
The whole family after listening to it come and hug Priya. She says she only agreed to meet up and not marry. Adi and Vikrant say that this marriage can’t happen. Brinda asks them what their problem is. Adi says girls these days are a problem. Vikrant says Ram will have Vedika in his heart and marry Priya. Adi says they need to tell Priya that Ram loves someone else. Ram comes and asks what he shall talk to Priya. Vikrant says he will help him. Akki tells Ram to ask Priya if she knows how to cook. Vikrant tells him to be honest and tell her that he likes someone else. Sara and Sandy show the dresses to Priya and ask her to change. Meera does Priya’s aarti before leaving. The family wishes Ram the best of luck and he leaves too.
Ram waits for Priya and thinks about how he will handle the situation. Priya comes and they sit. Priya orders upma and Ram orders his usual. Ram starts asking Priya silly questions. She tells him that Akki might be her cousin but he is like her real brother and she is doing it for him. Ram says he cares for Shivi too and since Akki and Shivi love each other he is ready to do it for her. Ram says that they both are very different but the only thing common in them is that they care for others happiness. He says they can get married but still be independent and do what they want without being bothered by each other.
Priya tells Ram that she hates people who lie. She says she is glad that he was honest with her about everything. Ram says he has lost hope for love and whatever he is doing is for his family’s happiness. He tells her to do the same if she wants her family to be happy. He asks her how the upma is. Priya says it is nice and tells him to taste it, he tastes and says it’s nice. Their date ends when they both go home alone. On the way, Priya thinks about what Mahender said.
