The episode of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 starts with Maitri and Neerja entering. Neeraj takes blessings from Mahender. He asks how he knows about all this as he was not here. Maitri says he is acting as if he has received the best dad award. Sara asks Mahender where he was when they needed him. He says he has come back to fulfil his responsibility as a father. Sandy taunts him. Mama Ji comes and Sara offers him tea. Mahender says he will go to see the marriage hall. Priya says it’s not needed as the hall is already booked. Mama says they will have to visit Kapoors to keep invitation cards in front of Lord first then we will distribute them. Mama asks if he wants to join them, Mahender agrees. Maitri tells Priya to get ready. Neeraj says he has forgotten his wallet. Sandy says they have money. Neeraj says his driving license is in his wallet. Priya says they can come directly to the venue where Maitri and Neeraj leave.
Meera tells Priya she should apologise to Nandini for what happened. Priya says she will apologise to her, not for her past but because Neeraj created drama. Nandini and Mami go for a walk. Rakhi comes and tells Nandini she is doing wrong. She says she is not a stranger but Mahender’s wife Rakhi. Mahender left his wife and doesn’t like his daughters. She asks if they didn’t feel anything wrong about Neeraj’s marriage to Maitri. Neeraj is rich so they got him married to Maitri as he rejected Priya. Nandini tells her to stop, Mami asks if she will not take action. Priya, Akki and their family visit Ram’s house. Mama introduces Mahender. Mami says they have heard that Mahender left his wife and has no relation with his daughters.
Mahender says he is remarried. Priya says that their parents separated long back and he has a second family. Nandini tells Meera that if they are making a relationship with them they need to know everything about them. Neeraj being Priya’s ex is married to Maitri and now Mahender all of a sudden shows up. Meera says she didn’t hide anything. She told Nandini that she is a single mother like her and if Mahender decided to come and do Priya’s kanyadaan she can’t stop him as he is her father. Priya says they know about her past but why are they putting fingers on their mother’s past.
Ram comes and says he is going to be a part of their family so has the right to know why their family is scattered. Ram says Priya got ready to marry because of Akki’s condition. They have a love for each other in the family and he likes that. If there is no love, the relationship is useless. He says when a person leaves someone the one who is being left is not at fault. He knows the pain as someone left him too. Ram says whatever has happened in the family is not Priya’s fault Akki and Meera thank Ram. Nandini gives a contract to Shubham and says it’s his responsibility to bring Ram’s signatures. Shubham is unable to do so as Ram goes to do some work.
