The episode of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 starts with Ram offering cold coffee when he sees Meera crying. He says he got cold coffee for everyone as he feels good when he drinks it. He says whatever happened is not Priya’s fault. Meera tells Ram he will be becoming her son; she needs to tell him everything. She says Priya talks bitterly but her heart is clean. She had to go through many things and hear many taunts and hence has pain in her heart. She says they need to teach her how to enjoy cold coffee so that its sweetness will dissolve the bitterness in her heart. Priya is crying and tells Sara why does everyone blame mom and say nothing to dad. Meera comes and tells her everything is fine now and Ram has taken care of everything. Priya asks how she will convince them to keep marriage in the community hall. Meera says she will talk to Ram.
Mahender comes back home and tells Raj to talk to the bank officer. Raj says if he wants him to lose his job. Mahender says if Priya and Ram’s marriage is broken he will ask Shashi to get her married to someone, or else people will blame him. Priya gets a call from the bank regarding the bakery. Mahender tells Rakhi he is breaking Priya and Ram’s marriage for Raj but has to get them married somewhere else. Priya goes to the bank. The official tells her to pay the EMI of 3 lakhs with a penalty. Priya thinks she has to settle this on her own and can’t inform her family. Ram tells Nandina that the contract is not right as Priya will not get anything after they are separated. Nandini says she is doing this to protect him.
Ram says marriages are not made on conditions. She says he is marrying a stranger, Priya’s ex-boyfriend Neeraj and her dad’s drama is very suspicious. Mahender visits the bank and tells the officials that Priya is marrying Ram Kapoor. He will clear all the dues. Brinda tells Ram that Priya didn’t tell about her past as it is not easy to talk about it. Ram says he feels the contract is not right but is doing it for Mom and Shubham. She tells him to refuse. Vikrant says don’t refuse as they got a call from the bank. The bank people think Ram will clear Priya’s loan. Shubham asks why they will pay their loan. Sandy tells Priya they can take help from Raj. Priya says no as she doesn’t want them to think that they want money from them. Meera says Priya is right.
Shubham and Mama Ji come with the contract and tell Priya to sign it saying it’s a formality. Sandy says it’s a prenup, marriage contract. Meera asks what it says. Priya says if Ram and she take divorce, then she won’t have any right to alimony. Mahender says Priya won’t sign it. Priya says by doing this they are questioning her integrity. Shubham says they came here thinking that they will understand. Meera asks if signing this is necessary. Mama Ji says it’s crucial for upper-class families. Priya says they are middle class and not thieves. Shubham tells her to sign it then. Priya says she won’t. Shubham and Mama Ji tell her to think about it and leave. Akki says she will talk to Shivi about it.
