Neelima tells Pakhi that she has complete control over the environment in this chamber. Pakhi used to come into this room as his buddy, but now she’s Agastya’s wife and his daughter in law, and it’s a major adjustment for her, she says, and she’ll need time to adjust. Neelima tells Agastya to look after Pakhi and then walks away.
Agastya informs Pakhi that he has not requested that the room be decorated. He offers Pakhi a box and tells her that Dadi told him to give her something on their first wedding night. He then displays an empty perfume bottle that Pakhi gave him for the first time, as well as a shattered glass cup that she gave him when she first joined the pottery club.
Pakhi, according to Agastya, is the most valuable item in the world to him. He tells Pakhi that she should sleep in the bed while he sleeps on the couch. He quips that this is how things go in classic Hindi films, and that he can’t change it.
Agastya takes a seat on the couch and tells Pakhi not to be frightened. Pakhi tells Agastya what occurred.
Pakhi claims to have heard a knock at the door. He opens their room door and tells Pakhi that no one is here since he isn’t convinced. Pakhi suggests that he might open up to her about his father. She apologizes and injects the medicine into the glucose drip bottle.
Pakhi is asked by Prema to say something. Pakhi declares that she is speechless. Prema tells Pakhi that she should embrace her new life because it is the greatest option for her. Pakhi declares that she would not accept Agastya’s assistance. Prena receives an apology from the house owner, who then departs.
Prema and Pakhi say they can’t accept such a large amount of help from him, and that if Sameer were still alive, he wouldn’t accept it.
