Jon advises that they can use as many people possible for the imminent war which infuriates Daenerys and other and they leave immediately. She then warns Tyrion that if things continue to go on the same, she will replace him as the Hand of King.

Arya Stark checks on her weapon that Gendry is hesistant to make. She also tries to gain more insight into the White Walkers and Gendry seems impressed by her skills which prod him to start working on her weapon immediately. Meanwhile, Jamie seeks out Bran and apologies to him about the window incident to which Bran says that the only reason why he never talks about is because otherwise he would’ve been murdered hence missing out on the war. Jamie is spooked when Bran hints that there may no longer be an after. Later, Jamie and Tyrion reunite. He asks Tyrion if Cersei indeed lied about the baby. To which, Tyrion declares that they are going to die here in Winterfell.

Brienne doubts Jamie’s true intentions for arriving in Winterfell to which he responds that he is no longer the fighter he was before but it would be his honor to fight under her. Jorah Mormont advises Khaleesi to forgive Tyrion Lannister and so she asks for a truce with Sansa. She even tell Sansa about her love for Jon and that she will be fighting alongside him in the battle. However, tensions rise when Sansa questions the Khaleesi about the North post defeating The Night King & Cersei and then claiming the Throne. Theon Greyjoy interrupts them by informing about his sister returning back to claim the Iron Islands and that he did not join her because of his allegiance to Winterfell.

Eddison Tollet, Tormund Giantsbane and Beric Dondarrion meet with Jon and tell him about the imminent war after night falls. Together they all begin strategizing a plan to defeat the dead army. Bran decides to bait himself and wait in Godswood to give the others a chance to fight and Theon agrees to stay by his side. Tormund is convinced they will die.

On the other hand, there is visible tension between Jon and Daenerys. Later, Samwell Tarly asks Jon on whether he has revealed his true identity as Aegon Targaryen to Dany.
