The episode of Imlie starts with Malini telling Aditya that if he doubts her she will leave the house and not trouble him. She picks her bag and tries to leave but sprains her ankle. Aditya makes her sit and tells her to relax. Malini says that she was the one who supported his and Imlie’s relationship when she knew he cheated on her. Aditya apologises to her and asks her to relax. He tells Imlie to leave as he wants to talk with Malini. He tells Malini that he missed the previous divorce counselling session and wants to attend the next one. Malini says she doesn’t know the next date. Aditya tells her not to worry as he will ask Kunal. Aditya walks out and tells Imlie that she looks pretty in the dress. He offers to take her shopping but Imlie declines.
Imlie goes to talk to Malini. Imlie tells Malini how she used to see her as an angel and wanted to become like her. She says she trusted Malini and wore the dress gifted by her. Malini says if she has a problem with her then she will leave. Imlie tells her to not bring Aditya between them. Malini tells her that she is her younger sister but now she has her problems to deal with and doesn’t want to interfere in her life, she tells Imlie to go and sleep. The next morning Aparna gives tiffin to Malini and tells her to have it on time.
Dev comes and asks Imlie how she is. Imlie says she is getting late for college. He ignores Malini and says he came here to check if Imlie is fine. Malini hearing that excuses herself. Imlie tells Dev she knows he is worried for Malini, but they are all here to take care of her and will send her from here once she gets well. Dev thinks that Imlie is thinking about Malini even when Malini has bad intentions for her. Dev walks to Malini and says he is supporting Imlie as she needs him. He tells Malini to spare Imlie and return home.
Malini thinks before Imlie snatches whatever is left, she needs to kick her out of Aditya’s life, his house, and papa’s heart. Malini tells Kunal to divert Aditya’s mind to cancel the divorce when he will come to take the next counselling date. Kunal hesitates to do it but after Malini pressurises him he agrees.
