The episode of Imlie starts with Imlie and Aditya performing the ring searching ritual. Rupali, Nishant, and Dulari/nakli naani cheer for them. Nishant says they both are a good team. Aditya says he hopes everyone sees it. Imlie wins, Naani says she knew Imlie will win. Naani says the next ritual for them is suhagraat and they will have to spend the night together. Anu tells Malini that she has to do something soon. Malini walks to Imlie and asks for the ring back. She says it’s an ancestral ring and should be kept safe, so will hand it over to Aparna. Imlie does not give the ring saying she will wear it always. Malini insists saying she doesn’t even value gold and tries to take it from her. Imlie tells her to not misbehave. Malini says she is the one who misbehaved and came between her and Aditya. Imlie says she never came between anyone. They both struggle to get the ring and it falls.
Aditya picks it up as asks what they are doing. Imlie says the ring is loose for her, so Malini wants to get it fixed. Aditya puts the ring on Imlie’s finger and says it fits properly, he goes to find Sundar. Imlie tells Malini that she knows she doesn’t want the ring but wants Aditya. Imlie tells her to give up as Aditya loves her. Malini says he loved her as well, but Imlie snatched him. She says she will do the same and take Aditya back. Imlie says Aditya values her friendship and if he comes to know that she is conspiring, no one can spare her from his anger. Malini says Aditya hated Imlie but loves her now. But in her case he treats her as a friend so it’s easier to make him love her again. Imlie says that Seeta Maiya is with her.
Aparna and Radha reject to attend the function saying Malini is their only bahu and not Imlie. Dulari says she has invited neighbours and pandit as the family members don’t want to come. Aparna says Imlie can take blessings from neighbours only. Dulari says that Aparna should gift her sarees to Imlie. Aparna gives all her old saree. Rupali confronts Aparna by saying she is spoiling the family environment with her hatred towards Imlie. Later Imlie turns the old saree given by Aparna into a beautiful lehenga choli, Rupali praises her.
Malini tells Aditya that she wants to give a gift to Imlie for her muh dikhayi. Aditya says in-laws are the ones who give gifts. Malini says she knows but Aparna, Radha, and Harish won’t give, so she wants to give the gift instead. She tells him to accompany her. Imlie comes, Aditya tells her that her sister cares a lot about her and is taking him to get a gift for her. Imlie says she doesn’t want any gifts. Aditya says he will return soon. Imlie applies Nazar kajal behind his ear and kisses him on the cheek.
