The episode of Imlie starts with Malini’s lawyer asking Harish to describe what happened that day. Harish says he doesn’t know how the whole family was inebriated. When they woke up in the morning that’s when they came to know about it. The lawyer asks Radha who says she doesn’t know as well. When Aparna is asked she says they had invited orphan children to celebrate Janmashtami, but doesn’t know what happened that night. Pankaj says he only remembers Imlie’s Nani shouting. Mithi tells Imlie that their evidence is benefiting Malini. Imlie says the truth has not come out yet. Rupali tells the lawyer that Imlie must have mixed something in their drink. Nishant says nobody saw anything. Aditya is called next. Desai asks Aditya why he alleged Malini that she forcefully got intimate with him when Malini is his wife.
Aditya says that Imlie is his wife, not Malini. The lawyer asks didn’t he marry Malini, did he inform Malini that while he was married to Imlie before marrying her. Aditya says he tried telling Malini. Desai asks yes or no. Aditya says no he didn’t tell Malini. Desai says how can they trust a person who trapped an 18-year-old and then married Malini for her wealth. KC questions Aditya if he ever told the truth to Malini. Aditya says he had explained it to her and they mutually agreed to file a divorce. Desai says that legally Malini is still his wife as divorce is not done. Aditya says Imlie is his wife, KC tells him to explain what happened on the day. Aditya says he fought with Imlie, so was looking for her. He says he doesn’t remember anything else. Desai says if he doesn’t remember how can he be so sure that he got intimate with Malini. Aditya says he was drugged. Desai says how can he say Malini drugged him as he could have drugged and misused her. Judge says without evidence he will have to close the case. KC pleas to let him gather more evidence. The judge agrees to give him one more hearing.
Anu tells Malini that Desai did a good job. Without any proof, the case will be shut. Malini says she is worried she will lose Aditya while winning this case. Anu says Aditya’s biggest weakness is his guilt. Imlie used it to get close to him, so she should do the same. Aditya comes and asks Malini why she didn’t inform her that she has halted divorce proceedings. Malini says she wanted to inform him but so much happened in these few days that she couldn’t. Her sister filed a case against her friend, KC stripped her character. Imlie comes and says her character will be assassinated when the mob will come to protest in front of her house.
Aditya blames Imlie for all this and leaves. Malini asks from where will she find the evidence as without it she will lose the case. Imlie says she will. KC tells Imlie that they need strong evidence to win the case. Imlie asks what about her burnt saree. KC says Anu has already proved it false with her lies. Dulari says to win against English madam aka Anu they also have to act like her. KC says he didn’t understand. Imlie says she has understood.
