The episode of Imlie starts with, Malini asking Dev and Dadi why they went to Aditya’s house. They reply saying they wanted to sort things out. Malini says Aditya lied to her about going to Jamshedpur when he went somewhere else. Dadi asks if Aditya behaves like this with everyone. Malini thinks of the moments and realises that Aditya always listens to Imlie and behaves very well with her. Malini is shattered, Dev asks what’s wrong. Malini says that since Imlie came into their life she started facing relationship problems with Aditya. She says that she finally realised that Aditya cares about Imlie and not her. She says he is happy with Imlie and not her. She walks away sadly thinking that Aditya is doing injustice to her.
Dadi tells Dev that the situation has gone out of hand. He says he wanted his two daughters to stay happy under the same roof, but Anu’s brainwashing has made Malini doubt. Dadi says Aditya is not completely wrong. During breakfast, Rupali shows the newspaper to Tauji and Pankaj and tells them that there is an article about Imlie. Tauji and Aparna say that they would have celebrated if things were normal. Rupali asks if Imlie’s happiness is not important. Nishant says that they should celebrate and inform Imlie about it. Pankaj reads it and tells everyone that Aditya wrote it. As they are reading phone rings, Aparna picks up. She then informs that minister wants to felicitate 3 topper students with awards and Imlie is invited. Rupali gets excited for Imlie.
They show the article to Imlie and congratulates her, she says thank you and asks when is Malini coming back. Aditya says that he will talk with Malini tonight but she shouldn’t worry about all this and concentrate on her celebration. He says that she has made everyone proud. Nishant asks if they can come with her to the award ceremony, Aparna says they all are invited. Aditya tells Imlie that she should call her Amma as well, she thinks that it might cause more problems. So says that she won’t call her Amma as her family is already coming with her.
Malini reads the whole article and says that Aditya wrote it so beautifully. She says that he thinks Imlie is perfect. If Imlie is light then she is darkness. She puts Aditya and Imlie’s picture together and says that all she wanted was his love but he removed her from his heart.
