Today’s Imlie episode starts with Rathores coming to attend Parul’s engagement. Imlie compliments Parul and Chini receives compliments from Parul’s friends. One guy tries to flirt with Imlie but Chini tells him his eyesight is weak thus he is looking at Imlie and not at her. Imlie takes it positively and she praises Chini’s beauty. Narmada taunts Imlie and leaves. Rupy recalls Imlie’s mother and tells her that her mother used to behave like that only. She used to deal with all problems bravely. Imlie says in childhood she stopped crying after hearing her mother’s story but now it makes her emotional. Rupy gives her a forehead kiss and says it’s time to create her own story. Parul’s parents introduce Rathores to Rudra’s family.
Then in Imlie, Atharv finds the function boring and he encounters some fans and clicks selfies. He bumps into Imlie and the latter drops the mehendi bowl she was holding. Some mehendi falls on her hand and she picks the stuff from the floor. Atharv gets mesmerized by looking at Chini who is standing far away. He leaves to find her without noticing Imlie. Imlie gets up and Arpita finds the bride’s mehendi in her hand. She teases her saying next it’s her turn to get married. Then she can write poems for her special person. Atharv looks for Chini and his siblings tease him by his nickname Atthu. He scolds them. Imlie comes to call Parul and sees Chini talking to her. Parul is crying and Imlie asks her what’s the issue, vidaai didn’t happen yet. Chini says Parul loves someone else and she doesn’t want to marry.
Later in the Imlie serial, Imlie says then Parul can talk to her parents but the latter says they won’t listen to her. Her lover doesn’t earn enough and he is very simple. Chini says Parul should run away with her lover. Imlie says Parul should not ruin her parents’ reputation in front of guests by leaving the mandap. She should talk to the groom and the latter won’t marry her against her will. Chini says Parul’s parents will blackmail her only and then will force her to marry the groom. Parul shows her lover’s photo to Imlie and Chini. Imlie recognizes him and says he is the same person who gave her the drug packets. Chini says that guy was different. Imlie keeps on saying no he is the same but Chini takes her aside. Chini thinks Imlie can’t become a heroine all the time.
Imlie says but things can get solved without running away. Chini thinks she will make sure Parul elopes. Rudra hears taunts from the guests about Atharv’s career. Rudra tackles them. Atharv is determined to find Chini and plays DJ. Everyone dances and Chini comes there. Atharv gets delighted seeing her and Imlie sees him from the balcony. She says he saved her from the police and his wish should get fulfilled. Chini provokes Parul to elope with her lover when everyone is busy dancing. Imlie gets excited and her dupatta falls off. She covers herself with a curtain and comes downstairs.
Lastly in Imlie, Chini says Parul should not hear Imlie’s meaningless advice. She will be happy with her lover only. Parul notices Imlie and gets scared. She says Imlie will catch her. Chini spikes a cold drink and Rupy stops her asking what is this. She tastes it and asks Chini why the latter is nervous. Chini then thinks Rupy always tries to protect Imlie but not now. Imlie wears her dupatta and Chini gives the drink to her. Imlie gets a strange smell and refuses to drink but Chini forces her. Atharv again bumps into Imlie and the glass breaks. Chini thinks her plan flopped again.
