At the beginning of the episode, Imlie is asked to return Aditya’s pen drive. Malini, sensing an opportunity, approaches Aditya and inquires if he is becoming agitated by the presence of a throng; she had instructed Imlie to invite only those on the guest list, but she enjoys assembling a mob. Aditya tells Malini that she is misinformed and that he is pleased that the entire community is celebrating the event together as a result of Imlie’s efforts.
Malini inquires if he witnessed Imlie’s rudeness toward Pranav. Aditya claims that Pranav is a bad man, but Imlie simply wants to keep everyone happy; she didn’t urge Malini to leave when her and Pranav’s connection was disclosed, and Imlie is reckless but not stupid. Aditya claims she was mistaken in thinking Imlie didn’t like her and that she should continue to exhibit her maturity. Pranav believes that, since he has no idea how Imlie discovered the pen drive is with him, he should use Imlie’s invited police against her to get out of here. Malini accuses Imlie of bringing in strangers and getting Aditya into trouble. Malini rushes to Dev to notify him.
Pranav promises he’ll go free Aditya using his contacts. Anu teases senior servant Mithi, saying that if Malini couldn’t get Aditya, neither can Imlie. Dev grins and says he’ll keep an eye on what he can’t do.
At the police station, the inspector informs Aditya’s family that he must remain in custody for the time being and that they must gather proof to prove Aditya’s innocence. Imlie believes she needs to keep Pranav in the police station until she can prove Aditya’s innocence. Imlie claims to have stopped a thief from fleeing and informs Pranav that she has already informed him that he will be arrested. Aditya tells the cops to clear up their misunderstanding by searching his room first.
