In today’s episode, we can see that Imlie is defended by Aryan, who tells the PGD villagers that she is not a shame but a source of pride for their community. This village had a reputation for producing weapons and bombs, but Imlie altered its name for the better, and so on. Villagers beat up on Aryan, and the sarpanch says it’s not his city to give a speech in English; this is where the PGD and the law work. Tripathi’s will grant her property rights to Imlie, even though Dev has already transferred a flat in Imlie’s name and would not hesitate to transfer everything to Imlie, therefore Malini needs to file a case against Tripathi’s to safeguard her and her baby’s future. Hearing it, Malini is shaken, but she insists that Aditya is still alive.
Imlie and Aryan are restrained by villagers. Imlie is bound and stoned by the villagers. Imlie breaks her bonds with a hairpin, uses an axe to free herself, Meethi, and Aryan, and threatens the villagers that she will alter their minds. Aditya is questioned by the Sarpanch as to why he is intervening when he has already departed Imlie. Imlie tempts the villagers to touch them.
Aryan devises a plot to frighten the villagers and hits the first attacker, knocking him out. Imlie tells Meethi that they triumphed, that she kept her promise to Dadda, and that the entire community, including Aditya sir, is safe. Meethi claims Imlie came to his aid. Imlie tells him to stop, saying that she is no longer old enough to put up with his stupidity, that she has changed and will not tolerate it, and that she is attempting to move away.
