Imlie arrives at Aparna’s house and inquires as to why she appears agitated. Aditya claims that Imlie is no longer her daughter, that she is now the CEO of Bhaskar Times and the girlfriend of a very wealthy guy, and that he has always said that he will not let her shadow on his house, but that he will show it today. Imlie claims that whatever he says, this is her family, and she will not abandon them. Malini claims that not only is Imlie dissatisfied with her blood link, but she also betrayed her trust by kidnapping her spouse and then coming here to kidnap something else; there is no place for selfish individuals here, so she should leave. Imlie claims that Aditya is uninteresting to her, but his family is, and she has come to help them solve their dilemma. Imlie claims that Aditya does not require employment, but that her family does, and tears up Aditya’s resignation letter. Aryan says Aditya is a pitiful man who will soon be abandoned by his family; Malini says he should return to work tomorrow as per his family’s orders, as they want him to be Imlie and Aryan’s slave for the rest of his life. Aparna claims that Imlie would soon invite her home and give snacks and that Aditya humiliates Imlie under Malini’s influence, and so on. Malini interrogates her and inquires as to why she went to meet Imlie after seeing Imlie leave her off at her house. Malini claims that she was once her daughter and a perfect bahu, but Imlie kidnapped her as well.
Aparna claims she cannot love her as Imlie does and insults Harish in front of everyone, while Imlie consoles her.
