Today’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 22 August episode begins with Maasii thinking what Mohini wanted to show to her. Police informed Prerna (Erica Fernandes) that Veena had been charged for attempt to murder of Bajaj.
She was further informed that Sharda Maasiji had filed the case against Veena. Mohini showed Maasiji the photograph of her cutting the rope of the hanging. She questioned about the reason to harm Rishabh Bajaj. Anupam heard their conversation and interrupted them. He told Anurag about the whole incident. Anurag decided to return to help Prerna.
Prerna was not ready to believe that Maasiji could file such a complaint. Shivani started blaming Prerna and her in-laws for Veena’s arrest. Prerna met Mr. Vyaas and asked about the contract given by Bajaj. Vyaas confirmed that Bajaj gave the contract on the condition of Veena working for them.
He said that Bajaj wanted to help Veena financially and overpaid him for it. Prerna got shocked to learn the truth. She felt guilty for misunderstanding Bajaj’s intentions.
