Today’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 23 May episode begins with Anurag telling the cops to not support Komolika and tells Chaubey that he is ready for compromise only if Chaubey stops backing up Komolika. Anurag (Parth Samthaan) promises to scrap the video if Chaubey guarantees safety to Basu family, especially Prerna (Erica Fernandes).
Komolika (Hina Khan) warns Chaubey to not fall for that and not get influenced but Chaubey pays no heed. He slaps Komolika and gets her arrested for the accident of Moloy that was her doing. While she is being taken to the police station, she promises Prerna and Anurag that she will never let them be together. Nivedita then apologises to Prerna and calls her the best daughter-in-law of Basu family.
Anurag tells Nivedita he will file a complaint against Komolika and leaves for the police station, Prerna decides to accompany him. Komolika is furious to see them both together when they arrive at the station. Prerna tells her that there is no way she can separate them.
Some time later, Ronit comes to the Sharma house and is in drunken state when he is threatening Shivani and Veena that he will not spare them. Prerna and Anurag spend quality time and share nice memories on their way back.
