The episode of Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi starts with Dev thinking about something in his office. Vicky sees Dev worried and asks him to share his problem. Dev says he is thinking about Ayush, they got him home but doesn’t know if they will be able to be a party of Ayush’s life. Vicky says Dev is everyone’s favourite and kids love him, so even Ayush will accept him. Dev says Ayush has to be with Rohit for 8 years and now suddenly he has come into their family, he might take time to mix up. Vicky asks Dev if everything is fine between him and Sonakshi. Dev recollects his argument and misunderstandings with Sonakshi. He changes the topic. Alena sends a voice note to Vicky that she is coming to pick him up. Vicky asks Dev if he can leave. Dev says she cannot deny it after listening to the voice note.
Ayush thinks about Ishwari taking Dev and Sonakshi’s name when Panditji asked. Iswari gives him milk in Soha’s mug. Soha comes there and asks Ishwari to give her dry fruits. Soha sees Ayush having her mug, she gets angry and asks Ayush to keep the mug down. Ayush keeps the mug down, but it falls and breaks. Soha cries as her favourite mug broke. Sonakshi comes and asks Soha what happened. Soha says Ayush broke her mug. Sonakshi consoles her and takes her into her room.
Ishwari goes to Sonakshi and says that she should not differentiate between her kids. She says Ayush is Sonakshi’s son and she needs to pay attention to him.
Later, Sonakshi dreams that Mr. Verma is taking Soha away from her. She wakes up. Dev asks her if everything is okay. Sonakshi says she is worried about Soha.
Dev asks Sonakshi to give her some time to Ayush too. Sonakshi opens up to Dev. She says she is a mother and when her kids cry, she feels more pain. She says Soha was crying so she hugged her and was worried about Ayush as he was scared. Sonakshi says she loves Ayush too, but she has to manage things between 2 kids and it is very difficult. Sonakshi asks Dev to understand her. Dev asks her if she ever understood him.
The next day, Sonakshi goes to meet her father. She expresses all her pain in front of her father.
