The episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Ranbir asking Prachi if she believes him or not. He asks her if she thinks that Ranbir will take advantage of her. Prachi replies no, she was asking where Ranbir is taking her. Prachi asks Ranbir not to care for her. Ranbir replies that she is the reason he is breathing and how can she say not to care for her.
Ranbir tells Prachi that he wants to give her something more than happiness. He says that he cannot see Prachi crying and wants to be the reason for Prachi’s happiness. Ranbir says that he can tell her about the surprise Pallavi has planned. He says that Pallavi mentioned that there is a surprise for him after Ravan Dahan, she had an engagement ring which she bought for her Bahu, which is Prachi. Ranbir says that Pallavi has realised that Prachi is the one for me and kept his surprise engagement.
Ranbir shows her the rings and makes her wear the ring. Prachi says that the engagement ring is tight. Ranbir replies to her that now she is officially his fiance and soon will be his wife. Rhea gets jealous of seeing them and rushes back home.
Rhea collides with a waiter. Pallavi comes to Rhea and asks her why she is crying. Rhea tells Pallavi that Ranbir made Prachi wear the ring which was for her.
Aliya scolds Pallavi that she promised Rhea that she will get engaged to Ranbir and now she cannot complete her promise.
