The episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Pragya telling Sushma that she won the award. Pragya apologizes to Sushma as she did not wait for the party. Pragya says she wanted to celebrate with Sushma and so she returned home after the award. Catherine asks Pragya to cut the cake. Sushma says Pragya is the first woman from India who won this businesswoman award in Australia. Pragya cuts the cake and celebrates her victory. Sushma asks Pragya how did she feel when she got the award. Pragya says she felt her existence, people were praising her and did not doubt her hard work. Pragya says she for the first time felt like she is not a breaker, but a maker. Sushma says she was asking Pragya about her present, but Pragya is thinking about her past. Pragya says she won the award and proved herself in 2 years. She says she completed the promise which she made to Sushma.
Pragya says she wants to go back to India. Sushma says no. Pragya says she is strong now, as Sushma wanted. She says that she is the CEO of the reputed International company. Sushma says Pragya has won a lot of awards but still has the past pain with her. Pragya says her people betrayed her, she used to pray for their long-lasting life, but they were planning her death. She says that all the pain will get over when she will return to India.
Sushma tells Pragya that her daughter, Priyanka married a man of her choice and shifted to India. He used to beat her and torture her. Sushma says she used to avoid Priyanka’s call in anger, but one day she answered Priyanka’s call and learned that Priyanka in trouble. Sushma says until she reached India, Priyanka committed suicide. Sushma says she lost her daughter but doesn’t want to lose Pragya.
Pragya goes to sleep. Sushma hears Pragya sleep talking. Prachi wakes up from sleep and says Maa. Ranbir asks Prachi what happened. Prachi says she got a bad dream about Pragya. Prachi says they need to find out where is Pragya. Ranbir says they have filed a complaint and in 2 years they did not find anything.
The next day, Sushma gets a cake for Pragya and wishes her a happy birthday. Pragya throws cake on the floor and says it’s not her birthday. Sushma says Pragya was saying birthday, birthday, birthday in her sleep, so she thought it’s Pragya’s birthday. Pragya says it’s Abhi’s birthday.
Meanwhile, Baljeet Dadi wishes Abhi a happy birthday. She says Abhi’s birthday would be happier if Pragya was with them. Abhi says Pragya is dead. Dadi says Pragya is alive and she knows it. Sushma says Pragya has a meeting in India and she might meet many successful people including Abhi. Pragya says she wants to see Abhi getting shocked to see her alive. She sees Abhi’s picture and says Happy Birthday betrayal man, see you soon
