Rhea and Prachi argue about their love and make a deal between them that if Prachi backs off from Ranbir, Rhea would convince her dad to marry Prachi’s mom instead of Rhea aunty. Prachi thinks of her love for her mom and accepts the deal. Prachi meets Ranbir at college but she ignores him and walks away.
Rhea forces Prachi to break up with Ranbir but Prachi is considerate of his feelings and asks for more time. She gets out of the room and Ranbir follows her.
Dadi and Sarita behen have a chat over a call where they are planning on bringing Mr. Mehra and Pragya close again. They plan on sending them both to the market at the same time so that Meera will see the love that Abhi and Pragya have for each other. Pragya enters the room and Sarita bhabhi makes an excuse.
Prachi cries over her deal to break up with Ranbir. Pragya comes in and tries to console her. They both cry for each other and talk about their problems and Pragya assures Prachi that she loves her and it’s her duty to protect her from all danger. Pragya mentions that everything happens for a reason but Prachi is adamant about bringing Pragya and Abhi together as they are both in love and should not be separated. Prachi takes it up as a responsibility to bring her Maa and Papa together happily.
Abhi gets home to see the house decorated and looks at everyone being happy but is not happy for himself. He meets Sufiyan and they talk about how strange love is and how love hurts people we love the most.
Rhea comes home to Aaliya to tell her that she has played her trump card in order to get closer to Ranbir. Aaliya constantly asks Rhea about this trump card and Rhea finally gives in. Rhea mentions that her dad would never marry anyone whom Rhea did not approve of and therefore will ask her dad to call off the wedding with Meera.
Ranbir goes to Sarita Behen’s place to find Prachi but she asks Sarita Behen to lie and hides away from Ranbir when he comes inside the house. When he doesn’t find Prachi, he gets worried about her even more. When Sarita Behen asks Prachi about what’s wrong, she refuses to say and tells her that she will try not to trouble Ranbir again.
