The episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Pragya and Abhi checking the bathroom and finding nothing. Abhi tries to call Pradeep again. Rhea’s phone rings on the table and they think that it was Rhea’s phone ringing all the time. Abhi calls Pradeep again, but Pradeep’s battery gets low and the phone gets off. Abhi says Pradeep declined his call. Pragya thinks if Pradeep has no problem with Tanu getting engaged to Abhi. Pragya says they can remove Pradeep’s address and go to his house and find some proof. They return to the living room.
Pradeep gains consciousness. He recollects Tanu hitting him on his head. He comes out of the cupboard and sees Tanu lying on the bed. He tries to wake Tanu. Pradeep says Tanu made a mistake and now he will expose Tanu. Pradeep thinks of meeting Abhi and telling him the truth. Pradeep leaves. Tanu gains consciousness. She checks the cupboard if Pradeep is still there or not. Tanu realises that Pradeep is not in the cupboard, which means he gained consciousness and might expose her. Tanu says she needs to stop Pradeep.
Aliya calls Pragya and asks what they can do next. Pragya says they cannot let the engagement happen . Pradeep comes from behind. Tanu makes him smell chloroform and makes him unconscious. She takes Pradeep away. Mitali sees Tanu holding a waiter. Tanu says the waiter mixed something in her drink and she felt unconscious, so she was scolding the waiter and he fainted. Tanu asks Mitali to get water for him. Mitali leaves. Tanu takes Pradeep to her car and locks him into her car.
Abhi tells everyone that Tanu is back to her consciousness and they have to pretend as nothing happened. Tanu comes to them and asks Panditji to start the engagement. Everyone shows that they. were concerned about Tanu. Tanu thinks that the Mehra family can act well, but she will punish everyone once she gets married to Abhi. Tanu asks Panditji to start the engagement. Abhi and Pragya worry.
