The episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Tanu asking Panditji to start the engagement. Panditji asks Abhi to sit. Abhi denies. Pragya signs Abhi and asks him to sit. Panditji starts his rituals and asks Tanu to put the ring on Abhi’s finger. Pragya looks at Abhi and asks him to do whatever Tanu says. Panditji asks Abhi to put the ring on Tanu’s finger. Abhi makes Tanu wear the ring and gives a fake smile. Tanu claps and says finally her engagement is done and asks Panditji to start the further rituals. Tanu says she needs to call her lawyer and leaves.
Ranbir sees someone knocking the room door. He opens the room and finds the manager. The manager says there was a waiter, whom he did not hire. The manager says the man made him unconscious and locked him inside the room. Ranbir recollects suspecting the waiter whom he met in the corridor. The manager says he will file a complaint against that man.
On the other hand, Abhi tells Pragya that he doesn’t want to get engaged to Tanu. Abhi says he is ready to go to jail but cannot be with Tanu. Pragya says she will not let him go to jail. Pragya says Abhi doesn’t have to marry Tanu, it’s a part of their plan so that they get some extra time from Tanu to find some evidence. Ranbir comes to Abhi and says that there was a man in their house as a waiter, he locked the manager inside the room and was searching for something. Mitali comes and says she saw the same beard man, he was unconscious and Tanu was holding him and took him away. Pragya says he was Pradeep and wanted to stop the engagement, so Tanu must have made him unconscious and hid him somewhere. Abhi says he will find out where Pradeep lives.
Meanwhile, Tanu tells Singhania that she wants to marry Abhi in 2 days, Singhania explains his plan to Tanu. Tanu says their plan will work and goes to sleep. Someone calls Tanu. Tanu answers the call but cannot hear anything. Tanu recollects that she locked Pradeep on the car. She calls Somdutt and asks if he left the car at some place and opened the car. Somdutt says he forgot to open the car. Tanu asks him to open it. Tanu worries that Pradeep will take revenge on her.
Somdutt calls Tanu and informs her that Pradeep is dead due to suffocation. Tanu gets shocked. She asks Somdutt to take care of the body and then can take money from her.
