The episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Aliya seeing Prachi listening to her and Ranbir’s conversation. She asks Ranbir to go inside and be with Rhea. Aliya leaves. Ranbir sees Prachi and comes to her. Prachi cries and she is happy that Ranbir took a stand for her. Ranbir wipes her tears and leaves. Pragya tells Abhi that she feels Tanu knows the thief. She says that Tanu seems to be worried after they caught the thief. Abhi says he realised that Tanu is behind everything when Somdutt said that someone from their house helped him to steal. Aliya tells Abhi that she filed the police complaint and the inspector can arrive any moment. Pragya asks Aliya why Tanu can help Somdutt to steal their jewellery. Aliya says maybe Tanu was supposed to pay Somdutt but she doesn’t have money, so she asked Somdutt to steal.
Pragya says Tanu must have asked Somdutt to take care of Pradeep and so he is asking for money. Abhi says they will come to know when Somdutt will gain consciousness. Aliya asks if they know if Somdutt will say the truth. Abhi says they will make him confess. Aryan and Shahana try to wake Somdutt. Ranbir comes there and seems worried. He asks Aryan to go with Somdutt and leaves Prachi there. Aryan shows her the direction where Ranbir went. Prachi goes to Ranbir and thanks him. Ranbir says he trusts Prachi and will always support her.
Meanwhile, Tanu asks Mitali to get some food for her. Mitali leaves. Tanu comes near Somdutt and sees Aryan and Shahana. Tanu tells Shahana that Prachi is crying and asks Shahana to check on her. Tanu tells Aryan that Ranbir has some work with Aryan. Aryan says he will wait near Somdutt. Tanu says she will go back to her room and hides behind a pillar. Aryan worries about Ranbir and goes to meet him.
Tanu comes to Somdutt and sprinkles water on him. She warns him not to take her name or she can kill him. She tries to open the rope but Abhi and Pragya come there. Shahana and Aryan go to meet Ranbir-Prachi and learn that Tanu lied to them. They come back to Somdutt.
Abhi asks Ranbir and Aryan to open Somdutt’s hands and asks him to confess. Somdutt says some truths are meant to be kept secret. Abhi says he will free Somdutt and also he can take all the jewellery, only if he confesses the truth. Somdutt points at Prachi and says she asked him to steal. Pragya and Abhi refuse to believe and hand over Somdutt to the inspector.
Tanu leaves and says she will meet everyone tomorrow as it’s her wedding day.
