The episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Abhi saying that he warned Tanu not to steal, but she did not listen to him. Baljeet Dadi asks Abhi to get Tanu home. Abhi says he is happy that Tanu is in jail. Dadi tells Abhi that Tanu is his wife and is a member of the Mehra family. Dadi says if Tanu will stay jail, then people will put a tag of the thief on them. Dadi asks Abhi to talk to Sumit’s brother, as he is the constable. Abhi agrees and leaves. Aliya thinks she cannot let Abhi go alone or he will come to know about Pragya. Aliya goes with Abhi. Tanu is in jail and thinking about Pragya. Tanu thinks she married Abhi for his money, but he lost all the money and they have nothing, while Pragya has turned rich.
Abhi comes there and says Tanu found a new home. Tanu says she did not steal. She says that she was blamed. Abhi asks who blamed her. Aliya comes and signs Tanu. Tanu says the rich lady. Aliya asks Abhi to talk to the inspector and free Tanu. Abhi says he wants Tanu to stay in the jail, but Dadi asks him to free Tanu, so he has to do it. Abhi goes to the inspector. Tanu asks Aliya Pragya was dead then how did she return. Aliya says Pragya’s body wasn’t found. Tanu says why Pragya did not contact Abhi. Aliya says they made Pradeep talk to Pragya in Abhi’s voice and made her believe and Abhi failed her car’s brakes. Aliya says Pragya hate Abhi. Tanu says Pragya is back to take revenge.
Abhi asks the inspector to leave Tanu and promises that he will not let Tanu steal anything. The inspector says the lady who filed the complaint against Tanu is good and he cannot betray her. Abhi goes to Sumit’s brother.
Meanwhile, Vikram talks to Ranbir and asks him not to leave him. Prachi calls Ranbir to asks about Vikram. Vikram asks Ranbir to video call Prachi. Vikram apologises to Prachi, for his bad behaviour and says wants his son back. Vikram and Ranbir and Prachi to return home. Pallavi hears their conversation.
Pallavi tells Ranbir that he is always welcome into the house, but Prachi is not. Abhi asks the constable what he can do to free Tanu. The constable asks Abhi to talk to the lady who filed a case against Tanu and convince her to take the case back. Abhi says he will meet that lady.
