The episode of Kumkum Bhagya starts with Gautam coming into Pragya’s office and recollecting his father’s word in which he says that they have to take Pragya’s sign on a business paper in which it will be mentioned that Pragya is giving all her India’s business to Thapars’. He thinks about how he will take Pragya’s sign. The peon asks Gautam if he needs coffee. Gautam says yes. Gautam gets his father’s call. He tells Gautam that he has told Gaurav about what is happening in their Delhi office. Gautam asks why he had to tell Gaurav about it. Thapar says that Gautam is unable to handle one woman and their business is going from their hands. Gautam says Gaurav is very short-tempered and can do anything. Thapar says he has already informed Gaurav and will be arriving there at any moment. Gaurav arrives.
All the staff members worry about seeing Gaurav. Gaurav goes to Gautam and says from today he will take over the Delhi business. Gautam says he will handle everything. Gaurav says he couldn’t handle a woman then how he can handle the business. Gautam says he took Pragya to their farmhouse and was about to do their work, but Abhi came there and heard his conversation with his father and fought with him.
Gautam says Abhi is now Pragya’s bodyguard and has warned him to stay away from Pragya. Pragya comes and asks Gautam to send the paper which she has to sign. Gaurav introduces himself and says he will be taking over from Gautam for a while. Pragya says she just wants her work on time.
Meanwhile, Vikram’s condition gets worse when Rhea forgets to give him the morning dose. Pallavi asks Rhea to get the prescription. Rhea goes into her room and realises that she kept the prescription near a window and it flew out. Prachi tries to say something. Pallavi doesn’t let Prachi say anything. Prachi leaves.
Abhi goes to Pragya and says he should have not scolded Pragya, but she deserves it. Pragya thinks Abhi still cares for her. Abhi leaves. Gaurav thinks of a plan and informs Gautam. Gautam calls peon Harish and explains to him what he has to do. Gaurav thinks he will keep Abhi away from Pragya so that his work will be done easily.
