Prachi fantasises about Ranbir intervening and reconciling with her. She wishes Ranbir had never told her all of these hurtful things. When Ranbir arrives, Prachi sobs profusely and accuses her of having an illegitimate child. Prachi is told by Ranbir not to waste time and to go out of his sight. He despises having to put up with her in the house, his room, and his life. He tells Prachi not to expose her face again since it will remind him of the cheat. He wishes to forget about Prachi. Prachi tells him that she feels like this is a dream and that if it isn’t, then perhaps the two years they spent together in their marriage were a dream. Ranbir claims that they can love one other in their dreams, but in reality, he was duped by her. He laments that she shattered their lovely love, which he believes was not enough for her. Pallavi, on the other side, performs Siddharth’s final ceremonies. He comes to a halt as he notices her pouring water on her head while dressed in white. She informs him that she is doing the rites to end their relationship. She says that he no longer has any ties to the family and urges him to depart with Prachi.
Siddharth and Prachi are ejected from the house by Ranbir and Rhea, who do not listen to Siddharth’s explanation. Siddharth has discovered Aaliya’s misdeeds, but Rhea forbids him from speaking anything. Prachi takes a step outside the house. When Ranbir sees Prachi go, he is heartbroken, but Rhea smiles wickedly. Rhea perceives Ranbir as despondent and lonely. In the absence of Prachi and Siddharth, she believes she can easily win against Ranbir.
