The episode begins with Prithvi bursting with anger on the priest as he doesn’t get in the mandap for the wedding rituals with Prithvi and Preeta. Preeta and Karan keep staring at each other. Prithvi drags the priest to the mandap. He makes Preeta sit for the rituals. Karan gets very angry. He blows off the fire in the hawan kund. Prithvi gets furious with Karan. He also goes to instigate Sarla against Karan. Sarla questions Karan for his behavior. Karan tells her that he has got married to Preeta now but still, Prithvi is trying to get married to Preeta again. Prithvi calls it cheating. Sarla again asks Karan for the reason of marrying Preeta with cheating. Sanjana and Sarla also fight for Prithvi and Preeta respectively. Karan reveals that he wanted to marry Preeta.
Sarla again counters questions Karan for not proposing Preeta for marriage earlier. She gets very hurtful and refuses to accept the wedding. In the Luthra house, Dadi keeps on trying to talk to Mahesh. She feels very guilty for not being able to do justice with Mahesh. She blames Preeta for everything that happened to them. Rakhee consoles her. Dadi gets so panic that she starts feeling pain in the chest. Rakhee goes to call Rishabh. On the other hand, Karan gets emotional.
He tells Sarla that he didn’t cheat anyone. He also admits that he realized that Preeta means a lot to him and his family. Karan also tells that Prithvi was taking away Preeta from him which was not acceptable for him. Prithvi still keeps on hammering on everyone that Preeta also didn’t know that it was Karan as her groom so their wedding cannot be acceptable. Karan gets angry at Prithvi. He says that everything is fair in love and war. Meanwhile, Rakhee knocks the door of Rishabh’s room. She informs Rishabh about Dadi feeling pain in the chest. Rishabh calls the doctor and they all move towards Rakhee’s room.
In the meantime, Prithvi tells everyone that Karan lies as he hates Preeta. Karan still tells that he loves Preeta a lot. But Sarla questions Karan whether he knows about Preeta’s wish. He also shares that he always used to keep thinking about her even after pretending that he hates her. Preeta also gets emotional as somewhere she gets convinced that Karan really loves her. Karan confesses his love for Preeta in front of everyone. He bends down on his knees and asks for Preeta’s hand. Karan also promises never to leave her. Shrishty comes in the mandap. She declares that she has accepted Karan as her brother-in-law. She trusts Karan for keeping Preeta happy forever. While everyone is happy, Preeta looks confused.
